There are several different definitions for the word CAN. To be able to, accomplish, have knowledge, used to indicate possibility are all listed in the Webster dictionary. All of them define God’s abilities BUT to me, personally, it also gives a little leeway to failure which is NOT God. God doesn’t fail. We as humans fail but God does not.
So I have decided to replace can with WILL! Webster dictionary defines will as used to explain a future happening, a choice, a willingness, and a command (my favorite). Yes, God can do all things for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). But the best part is that He WILL do all things for those who love Him. He WILL strengthen you when you need to be strengthened. He WILL love those who love Him. Best of all He WILL and He has saved us from ourselves.
God is everything and He is all powerful. So “can” is a given when it comes to Him. Of course He “can”. Instead of saying “God can do such and such” start saying “God WILL do such and such” and feel how powerful and how reassuring that will be for you. He WILL be your everything if you let Him.
Lord, Help us to remember that not only can you hold on to us and help us but you WILL be here for us. Thank you for the little things in our lives. Thank you for your amazing love and Thank you for everything you have and you will continue to do for us. We love you and we praise you. AMEN
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 NIV
‘I can do all this through him who gives me strength. ‘
Be strong, and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The Lord will do what is good in his sight.”

Commit your way to the Lord ; trust in him and he will do this:
